This film tells the love story of a woman who is dealing with several men. Female singer Gertrud (Nina Pens Rode (her husband Gustav Kanning (Bendt Rothe) will become a cabinet minister, but Gertrud confesses to her husband that she no longer loves him because he values his work so much that he neglects his love for her.
